Urban Decay Naked Basics palette

Hey guys, I know I reviewed this on my YouTube channel (click on the YouTube tab at the top and you can see the review) :) But I wanted to review it on here too as I can show some pretty pictures of it then too :)

My Thoughts

This little beauty I won in TattooedTeaLady's giveaway (whoop!) a few weeks ago.  It's a cute little palette perfect for travelling or a simple clean look, perfect for teaming up with a bright or dark lip.  The quality is just what you'd expect from Urban Decay, lovely creamy pigmented colours.  There's only one shimmery shade which is venus, which is perfect for the browbone and inner corner of the eye.

It's pretty rare (in my experience), for a neutral matte eye shadow to show up on a swatch but these do, which is pretty awesome.  I tend to favour the darker shades as that's just how I wear my shadow.  There is one little thing that holds me back from saying 'ermergherd amazeballs' about it, which is just that the lighter shades (other than Venus) don't really show up on my eye lid as they're pretty much the same colour as my skin - I know they show up on my hand, but not quite as much on my lid.  I'm just that pale :P

All in all it's a great little palette, again it's perfect for travelling or even keeping in your handbag if you're out and about.  You can create beautiful subtle neutral and classic looks with it, a real beautiful palette.
