Blogmas Day 5 - Steamcream

Hey guys!  It's Blogmas Day 5!  That means it's time for another Christmas themed post - this one is both a product review, and Christmassy!  Whoop whoop!

Ladies and Gents, I give you, Raymond.

Raymond is a festive little snowman who loves nothing better than wearing a top hat and a red scarf.  He loves playing dress up and having coal for buttons and eyes, and a carrot for a nose. Oh how I wish my whole blog post could be talking about Raymond, but sadly, we have more pressing matters to discuss, what Raymond actually is.

Raymond is one of the three themes STEAMCREAM (<-- that's their logo by the way, I've not gone doo lalley trying to shout their brand to you :p)  give their product during the festive season, he's named after Raymond Briggs, the created of the film/book 'The Snowman'.  The other themes are The Night Before Christmas and Joy to the World.

My Thoughts

Ok, the basics, you get 75g of product for £12.95.  It's suitable for vegans and contains things like orange flower water (sounds edible!), oatmeal infusion, almond oil and other delicious sounding things.  On the list of ingredients there are no parabens or faux parabens (phenoxyethanol) either.  Now, the scent, this is a strange one, I'm not saying it's bad, but it's.... it almost smells slightly clinical, now I just had a good sniff of it to really think what it smelt of, and it's lavendar :p  Not clinical scent, lavendar.  It's a very light moisturiser, it almost feels whipped, it's not thick and greasy, and it absorbs really quickly leaving the skin feeling really soft.  I love the design on the tin as well, once this is finished, I'll definitely be keeping the tin, I just need to think of something worthy of putting in it :)
