Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 1 palette

Do you ever get it where you open a piece of makeup, and feel so compelled to blog about it immediately, that you don't even put it on your face to try it properly?  Well, that was me with this - once I saw the palette, and swatched the shimmers, I came straight to the computer - normally I'd wear it in place and photograph it for you for the review, but I couldn't believe how gorgeous the shimmers were, they're like foil eye shadows in a pan!!!!  Because of that, this isn't a 'review' as such, it's just a ERMERGHERED LOOK AT THE PRETTY COLOURS post :)

This palette is a little different to other ones of theirs - the lid is matte where it's normally glossy, and it contains 16 shadows in their new ultra pro formula.  The top row are all mattes apart from the white shade on the left, that has a little shimmer to it (but not much).  But this palette is all about the bottom row for me, those metallic foil shimmers (no glitter as such) - they're absolutely stunning! Massively pigmented, finely milled, soft, blendable and absolutely stunning!!!  In my opinion, the most beautiful palette they've created yet, the formula is fantastic!

The palette also comes with a double ended brush instead of the little makeup sponge applicators that are typical in these types of palette - all these swatches were done with the shader part of the brush and not the blending brush end.  It's £6.99* of pure awesome - I cannot wait to smack this stuff on my lids to see what it looks like - in fact, I'll stick a picture on Instagram of me wearing them :)

Well done Makeup Revolution, once again! I mean seriously, I'm getting bored of saying this now!
