Today I bring you some more Makeup Revolution releases, this time, they're bronzer, highlighter and blusher palettes similar to the Sleek ones we've all come to know and love.

These are different to the Sleek contour palettes though - I don't know about you, but as much as I liked the Sleek palettes, I did find that the blushers were far too pigmented (resulting in blotchy clown cheeks) and very glittery (not a good look on a 35 year old mummy!) - that's what I love about these, the blushers are appropriately pigmented (very well, but not like clown face paint!) and they're virtually matte.  I don't know if you can see from the swatches, but they blend beautifully too, creating a gorgeous glow on your cheeks.

The highlighters are really gorgeous too, they're not too glittery and look lovely on the cheekbones (also work nicely under the brow bone, on the inner corner of the eye and on the cupids bow on your lip).  The bronzers are lovely as well, pretty much matte, some with a delicate shimmer which didn't really translate to the skin.

What I like is that there's a palette for different skin tones too - for example, take the Rave and Golden Hot palettes - ideal for darker skin tones - that's not to say those with paler skin tones can't wear them, but I think the highlighters and blushers in those palettes will look particularly lovely on darker skin :)

These are lovely quality, I adore the blushers, the soft gentle glow and great blendability, these really are gorgeous!

  2. These look lovely, I agree about the sleek palettes I live them but the pigmentation requires serious work, especially when you're getting ready in semi darkness, notice your face around mid-day and have been getting called coco the clown behind your back ever since *shakes fist*
