It's not secret that I'm a big fan of nude/natural toned palettes, and when they're chocolate themed, that's the icing on the chocolate cake.
When I opened this palette, I could see there was a nice range of colours, both shimmery and matte, but it wasn't until I swatched it that I realised how pretty these shadows were. I much prefer the shimmery shades, but that's just my preference. What's more, when I swatched them, it was like they transformed to look slightly different, more pinky like the UD Naked 3 palette, this wasn't a bad thing.
The quality of the shadows are everything you've come to expect from MUR. they're highly pigmented, blendable and easy to apply (as well as buildable). Just recently I've really enjoyed creating soft gentle looks, with the focus being the eyeliner and mascara, just like in the pic above.
What sets this palette apart from others is also the inclusion of cocoa powder in the formula, this helps to give it a subtle chocolate scent. Not that I need to mention it, but obviously it's a pretty awesome looking palette, given that it's like a bar of melting white chocolate, NOM! GET IN MY BELLY! But no... it's eye shadow and I don't want to eat that... shame.
A fantastic palette with Makeup Revolution knocking it out of the park once again (seriously MUR, I'm getting bored of repeating myself!), and for the great value of £7.99*. This would be a great palette for anyone, whether young people just building up their collection, or us older-folk who are just a bit obsessed with makeup!
