A very exciting video!

Good morning my lovelies! Sorry I've been quiet on here the last few days, I've been away visiting family for a long weekend (and the weekend before!) so I've been a busy bee!  There will be a Mummy Monday post later (fingers crossed) but before that I wanted to share a really exciting video with you.

YouTube

Every now and then I share one of my video's on here, but I don't do it often.  I was sitting here thinking that may of you might not know that I have a YouTube channel, or even how it came about.

I actually started my YouTube channel before I started my blog, back in November 2011.  I'd been watching some beauty YouTubers after falling into a bit of a lull in the evenings.  The idea of creating video's myself really scared me, which gave me the perfect reason to give it a go.  Most of my fears I'm happy to face, except for spiders, I have a healthy fear of them and it can stay that way!

Throughout my pregnancy and since becoming a mummy, my channel was quite neglected (before that I uploaded a good 2-3 videos a week), but I've started getting back on top of it again and upload about twice a week now (filming on a Monday).  Most of the video's I create are quick 'looks' with fancy music playing over the top, and then the odd chatty video.  I really enjoy the whole process - filming, editing, uploading and enjoying your comments and hopefully 'likes' ;)

I've embedded a few of my recent videos so you can see what they're like :)  If you have any requests just leave them as a comment below and I will try to film them if I can :)

Classic Valentines Makeup Look

And today, WE HAVE A VIDEO!!!! It's been a while since I uploaded a makeup tutorial on YouTube, in fact, July 2013 was the last one, yikes!!!! Anyway, I plan on trying to film at least one more - this time with more of a focus on the eyes - if you have any requests on any products you'd like to see me use/demonstrate for the next video, just let me know in the comments below :)  Other than that, enjoy the video, and if you enjoy it, don't forget to give it a thumbs up!

July Favourites and a nail art tutorial

Happy Thursday!  It's kinda like Friday for me as I'm off tomorrow, Chris will finally be home from his Summer school (Fri) and I can't wait!  You may have arrived here expecting a long post all about my monthly favourites and then a bit of a nail art tutorial, and instead you've been greeted with a couple of videos.  Well, before you skip off, I'd really appreciate a bit of support.

I've been creating YouTube videos for nearly 2 years, and in that time, I've uploaded 127 videos, each of which takes around 4 hrs of my time (preparing, filming, uploading to laptop, editing, exporting, and uploading), possibly more.  I really enjoy making videos, but what I enjoy more, is seeing you enjoy them.  But over the last few months my views have dropped as my subscribers have increased.  Now, I'm lucky if I get 50 views on a video.  So, today I'm appealing to you - I would really appreciate it if you would take a moment and watch one of my videos.  It's crunch time for me now, I have one more video filmed that I need to edit and upload, and then I'll make the decision whether or not to continue with my channel, depending on how it (and my last couple) does.

So if you'd like to continue to enjoy my videos, please support me in giving them a view, it would mean the world to me :)
