Now we're well and truly into January, and I'm back at work (boo), I thought it was about time to have a bit of a reflection on 2015. It was a funny year for me with the blog. I've now been blogging for 4 years and 2015 was the first year where I've found I haven't always enjoyed it, and haven't felt that motivated to blog. I morphed this blog to being a lifestyle blog as opposed to pure beauty, and made the concious decision to blog less and more importantly, accept a lot less PR samples. This'll continue in 2016 too. I don't like feeling weighed down with posts I'm compelled to write, I just want to write about what I want to, when I want to.
The Hi's
Some of the best things to happen in 2015 for me were:
* Spending time with my son & celebrating his first birthday
* Taking part in the precious moments campaign as a blog ambassador for Ty Hafan
* The honor in seeing my son turn from a baby into a toddler, it's truly amazing
* Walking out on Brighton Pier as 'Let it go' (the Frozen song) came on, and everyone stopped to sing it! It was like a flash mob, but not planned - really amazing
* Discovering, and loving, crochet :)
* Putting our house on the market
* Hearing Squidge say 'Mama' for the first time, and give me a kiss (my heart melted)
* Christmas with a 14 month old was really amazing, seeing him open his presents, awww
* Being a blog ambassador for Babymoov - I'd have been really lost this last year without some of their products

The Low's
Some of the not-so-great moments from the last year:
* Losing my Nana, she was my last grandparent, and she hadn't yet met Squidge
* Losing my blogging mojo, that's been a really tough one for me to deal with, blogging has been such a massive part of my life for the past 4 years
* Our house not selling... we're on with another agent now, so fingers crossed :)

While I don't have any major concrete plans for 2016, there's a couple of things on my radar, such as:
* Going for our first ever proper family holiday (with Squidge) to Norway when the hubby finishes his OU degree at the end of year - we plan to see the Northern Lights :D
* If and when our house sells, we plan to start trying for baby #2
* I'd like to lose some weight - I've gained weight since having Squidge, so I'd at least like to get back to where I was when I had him, ready for baby #2
* I also want to share more of my crochet work both here and on Instagram, it's something I do every day and have even started tweaking patterns :)
* I'd like to make more of our National Trust membership too, gets expensive if you don't use it :)
So who knows what 2016 will bring. I'm hoping not to lose more family members, I'd like for Squidge to be healthy and happy and I'd like to find my blogging mojo again :)
What were your hi and low points of 2015? And what are you looking forward to about 2016?
