Wedding outfit inspiration

So towards the end of June I'm off to a friends wedding, and I've been fretting a bit about what I'm going to wear.  For once, I'd like NOT to wear trousers and to actually wear a dress.  But I have pretty bad body confidence issues, combined with the fact that I really don't have the right shape for a dress, I usually end up wearing black trousers and a nice top.  But this time I really really want to wear a dress, so I decided to head onto the New Look website and pick out an outfit, which I might buy :)  Here's what I picked :)





So, it needs to be a long dress, I don't have legs anyone would want to see!  Orange is my second favourite colour (next to purple), but I'm staying away from purple as that's the wedding colour.  I'm also a fan of teal and I think the choice of jewellery will go really well with the dress :)  Then nude shoes and bag as there's enough colour in the rest of the outfit!

I can't find a cardigan that I like to go over it, so what I'd probably wear is a scarf over my shoulders and wrapped around my arms, but I've yet to find that.  I just wanted to share this outfit with you and see what you thought before I go ahead and buy it :)  So let me know what you think :)

    the outfit looks lovely, I definitely think you should go for the dress over the black trousers :) It looks like it would be really flattering, I hate getting my arms out as well so always wear cropped cardigans with anything sleeveless xx

      Hehe thanks :D Yeah I think it would be quite flattering too :) I'll have to get some fancy Gok Wan tummy tucky thingy for underneath :P

      Coral and teal are pretty much my blog colours :) Such a pretty combination :D Here's a tip - if you go to google images, do a search for movie posters, almost all of them have an orange/teal combination :)
